A former offshore oil well fire fighter, Terry Foster approached Axiom for help branding his new company — a hydroponic farm designed to provide locally sourced, organically raised heirloom herbs and vegetables to the Houston community. As a business to consumer model in a competitive space, it was critical the company’s brand was appealing, memorable and quickly communicated the value proposition of a hyper local, farm to table product.
We kicked off the process with an abbreviated form of THE AXIOM™ Marketing Strategy Profile. Once the company’s positioning, differentiation and key selling messaging platform was defined, Axiom named the business “Hometown Roots” and crafted the tagline “Fresh is Never Far.” The brand was then applied to the Hometown Roots’ essential near term needs of social media channels, farmer’s market banner, product packaging and business card.
