KATALYST DATA MANAGEMENT
Originally Kelman Data Processing, Katalyst engaged Axiom to rebrand the company after it divested its data processing business and acquired an end-to-end data management solution from Iron Mountain. The company needed a new name and brand position that reflected its current offering and clearly communicated its value proposition to onshore and offshore oil & gas operators worldwide. It also wanted to retain the acronym “KDM” which senior management believed had meaningful brand equity.
We started the initiative with our proprietary process, THE AXIOM™ Marketing Strategy Profile. Once the company’s positioning, differentiation and key selling messaging platform was defined, Axiom rebranded the company “Katalyst Data Management” and crafted the positioning line “Unleash Your Data’s Potential”. The new branding was expressed across digital and print applications including a new mobile-friendly website, animation, advertising, email marketing, sales literature, PPT presentation and trade show booth.
